-Goes largely according to canon. As the Blessing of Light is slowly restored, Emix clings to the Light for dear life. While he mostly uses it to augment his Paladin abilities, it also seeps into his White magic, replacing his Stone spell with a Glare of light. This is even more apparent after Haurchefant's deathEmix had been trying to take Urianger's advice and not feel responsible for standing between others and danger, and look what happened. He hardly sets his shield down for the rest of the arc. Before leaving for Azys Lla, he has a chance to see Urianger, who notices that he is cold to the touch. This concerns Urianger, but he ultimately lets it go.+Goes largely according to canon. As the Blessing of Light is slowly restored, Emix clings to the Light for dear life. -After meeting the Warriors of Darkness, however, Y'shtola also notices that what she assumed was the Blessing of Light was actually a surfeit of Light-aspected aether flowing through Emix. She talks to Urianger about it, and the two decide that simply asking Emix to let go of some of the Light would not be useful, and so they instead urge him to pick up disciplines that are more aligned with Darkness. They start by trying to teach him thaumaturgy, but he struggles to pick it up, so they decide to put that on the backburner and instead look into the rumors they have heard about a faction of Garlean defectors who reach into the Void to augment their abilities, thinking that that will be a solid way to balance out the Light. Emix agrees with great trepidation to give it a try. +After meeting the Warriors of Darkness, however, Y'shtola also notices that what she assumed was the Blessing of Light was actually a surfeit of Light-aspected aether flowing through Emix. -TBD+Goes largely according to canon. Emix takes to Reaper well enough and continues to slowly learn Black magic on the side, though they are not happy about not being "allowed" to act as a healer or protector. This is augmented by Zenos's comments that they are the same—no one involved in this war has ever seen them doing anything but frontline offense, so he might as well be right.

 === Shadowbringers === === Shadowbringers ===
-TBD+When the Calls start to come, Emix grows even more frustrated that their hands are so tied. This comes to a head when Urianger is taken and Emix decides that trying to help is worth the any consequences that could come from him using White magic. Having seen already standard White magic fail, however, he pulls aether from the Mothercrystal, rather than from the world around them, and basically attempts an LB3 alone. This would be catastrophic, were he not interrupted by Y'shtola, and then by the Call that took her too.

 +From then until his own trip to the First, he begins using his Light-focused skills again, in what he hopes in moderation. When he arrives on the First, however, he is sobered upon realizing what was at stake all along. He decides that he will stick to Black magic as much as possible for now.

 +The rest is TBD.
