As she was about to ask her questions a Golem was about to attack her. Fortunately Papalymo and Yda were near by and were able to knock it out with too much fuss. Victory was short lived as the two left before hearing her out. Annoyed, she takes a break in Bentbranch before heading back home. On her way she ran into a shadowy figure, who then teleported her to the Guardian Tree. Once she got her bearing, she realized that the Ixals were about to summon Gaurda at the tree. Once again, Papalymo and Yda came to fight them off.  In the custody of the God's Quiver's lieutenant Gritort Lienois, who had harassed her through his interrogation. Thankful that her brother told him to stand down as he had news for her. With Gritort's leave, Ephault let in the Elder Seedseer, Kan-e-Senna. Kan-e wanted to see Iris as she wanted her to be the Emissary for the Greenbliss.
