However, the Bozjan Resistance, weakened as it was, knew they would not be able to do it alone, and as such, asked the Warrior of Light for his help, as well as the aid of the Dalmascan Resistance. Should Bozja be liberated, it will make it all that much easier for the resistance to regain Rabanastre.

While he had risen to no small rank over the years, Laurent was also known for his skill with the gunblade among the Resistance, and the Bozjans offering him the Blade's Resolve is meant to be as much a show of Bozjans' good faith as it was a request for help.

Laurent is mostly absent from this, though he does help out when he's able, most notably when they went to Garlemald (to check on the twins, of course). Afterwards, he and Kris return to Rabanastre, repurposing the old bar into a flower shop (an odd choice for a desert city, but Laurent knows how to grow flowers in such an environment).
