* He doesn't use a surname until he marries his husband, when he takes Laurent's last name, Elja. Kris still doesn't use it until MSQ is over and he goes back to his old city name, Gale.
* The Echo gives him some physical strength in addition to the looks into the past; this allows him to use a greatsword and fight in ways he couldn't before.
