Lily Oh'fally, a Viera with a kind and outgoing demeanor. He is well known to helping anyone on the market with any task, as long as he is compensated for his time. Taking just about any odd job he can, he has gotten well acquainted with most merchants and traders. Though, as a trader you would prefer to see him on a day of work, as he's also well known for being a ruthless haggler with a kind smile.
It's also well known his level of education is abysmally low, being almost illiterate, yet is very good with numbers…
From pre-ARR to post-Ew, he has spend well over 20 years learning the ins and outs on how to best save money.

Additionally, he has four younger siblings, but to an outsider he looks more like their parent than their brother. He has become a hot topic within the groups of mother's who regularly visit the markets, as he will share sales wit them and has almost become one of them in a sense.

1580: Raeja (Lily) is born. His mother is the Head of their village.
1583: A Wood-Warder makes an unexpected visit, with him he carries an infant kit who was found nearby the village, a bit further was a mauled corpse of a Rava woman. The kit is named Njrh¹ and is raised by the village as a community.

Raeja was a gentle child who often looked after the other kit's when the adults went hunting and foraging. Though, more often than not, they would get hit by headaches and “strange” visions. Seeking out a wandering Conjurer with their mother, it was revealed the amount of Mist in the young kit's body was too much for them and they needed to regularly spend it to keep it under control. However, even after Raeja learnt to wield the mist flowing through them, the irregular visions and headaches persisted. Knowing naught else to cure this ailment, Raeja was kept under watch and only assigned tasks that could be executed within their village.
Though adept with magicks and in wielding a bow, their hunting skills were low, nor did they like to fight. So most adults in the village prayed that they would present female to stay among them.

1593: At the thirteen summer's old, Raeja presents male. Later that day he gets picked up by a Wood-Warder.
1594: A chill rushes through Raeja's back as smoke rises in the distance. The Wood-Warder commands the trainees to warn their respective villages and those around as a fire rises, a bad omen.
1595: The outer layer of Golmore Jungle is burnt, Raeja's village is invaded by the Garlean Empire and decimated. Raeja got tasked with hiding away, and protect the kit's in case they get found. Raeja and the kit's are the only survivors of their village. Emerging after it sounds safe, Raeja is the first to lay eyes on the carnage. Together with the 4 oldest kit's², they go to bury and hide away the bodies the best the can so the youngest doesn't have to witness the same. Later that day they split into smaller groups, Raeja's being the largest and heading towards the docks to the south.

Setting his sight on a whole new life, Raeja and 4 other kit's³ head to the nearest dock. Despite it taking months to get there, once there they seek out some traders to tag along with, though they quickly learn nothing is free. With no gil in their pockets, Raeja works alongside the merchants to stock up their cargo. Though he gets paid close to nothing for his physical labor, he does manage to make friends with them and they're allowed tag along if they don't make any problems.
Out on sea, Therejss³,takes an interest in books and learns how how to read and write Eorzean. Raeja takes an interest in the foreign greenery and is taught the meaning of a certain flower. Finding hope in such a small gesture, he decides his city name to be Lily Oh'fally. Soleyav³ mostly cares for the two youngest³ as they find the merchant crew scary.
After months of sailing, they have arrived on new land. A familiar heat meets them, though dry over moist.
Learning about their surroundings and about “Thanalan”, Lily sets his sights on the city, Ul'dah.

1598: Lily's small group have lived among the Ala Mhigan refugees for nearly three summers and neigh two ago, he found work within the walls. An older Lalafellian merchant had taken an interest in this newcomer who was desperate to earn coin. The two continue to work together and learn more about each other, forming a Grandpa-Grandson relationship near the end.

Year 0 (1600): The Lalafellian merchant retires and Lily becomes “independent”, having created reliable connections. Additionally, with some support from the merchant, Lily acquires a home big enough for him and his surrogate family.
Year 4: Having reached his twenty-fourth summer, Lily gets persuaded to join the adventures guild and joins the Thaumaturge guild. Him and Cocobuki have been acquainted for about seven summers.
Year 5: Lily goes outside of Ul'dah for a longer delivery job. Two merchant errands and a favour for Cocobuki. During this time he also seeks the help from a wandering Black Mage as he has a hard time controlling his spell casting.

Year 5: On his way back from his long delivery, many new meetings happen, though Lily thinks nothing big of it till he becomes acquainted with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Upon meeting Minfilia, his mysterious “Mist” condition gets put under a new light, and a new name, the “Echo”. Feeling pressured to become a member, Lily hesitantly joins the Scions with a nervous smile, though he rejects joining any of the Grand Companies, instead just becoming “associated” with the Flames as they're closer to his home.

During the events of ARR, and upon meeting Haurchefant, Lily's world gets flipped upside down. Having never encountered someone as flirty and open as him, Lily has no idea how to socially interact with him, though he does find it flattering and doesn't mind it. During their time spent seeing each other, the flirtation goes from being one-sided flirtation by Haurchefant, to reciprocated by Lily and the two grow too become closer.
Lily, who has a great many suppressed feeling in favour of caring more for those around him, becomes open about his many insecurities and anxieties he deals with, not really having had anyone around to rely on before now. The two become more comfortable with the deeper kind of communication and learn about their similar feelings of alienation in their own home, focusing on caring for others more than themselves and so on. The growing feelings of nothingness inside Lily slowly start fading away as he finds reassurance in Haurchefant and Haurchefant in Lily.
After spending more and more time together, their time spent apart starts to feel long feels lonely…
Using a meeting between the Scions and Camp Dragonhead to his advantage, Haurchefant asks for a private talk with Lily after all the official business has come to an end. Here, Haurchefant confesses his feelings, asking Lily to become his paartner. Lily, however, feels a rising anxiousness is growing within him as he has never been in a relationship like so before and feels unsure on how to react, telling Haurchefant he will give it some thought before giving him a reply.

Year 8: As a celebratory banquet is planned within the city of Ul'dah, Lily has been walking in circles in his own head. The culture he mainly grew up with in Golmore Jungle has been vastly different from that of the city culture. Romance and love was something he was never taught, as it wasn't widely spread nor that important in Viera culture.
New experiences and feelings aside, the Banquet was about to put his mind off of that…

Year 8: After Lily, Alphinaud and Tataru has made their escape to Camp Dragonhead, Haurchefant pulls Lily aside for a private talk, where Lily breaks down, his head is full of nothing but worry about how his younger siblings are, as it's not like they can easily blend in with the Ul'dahn crowds.
Haurchefant, knowing the timing not being correct, pleads for Lily to accept his confession, so that House Fortempts can always keep him and his family safe, promising that he himself will go and smuggle them out of Ul'dah if necessary. With a hazy mind and desperate for the safety and love that he was being offered, Lily accepts.

¹Childhood friend: Njrh; Viera, Rava♀, 3y's younger than Lily. Stoic and blunt. She cares little for “outsiders' gender norms” and only wants to keep Lily safe. Still calls him Rae despite knowing his city name. Changed her name's spelling to Near as “city folks kept getting it wrong”.
²Younger siblings:
Layla (former:Therejss) the oldest and 4y's younger than Lily. Layla was the one to teach what little Lily can read and write now. Despite her never changing expression she worries for her older brother a lot. Wants to one day study in Old Sharlayan.
Kanna (former:Soleyav) the second oldest and 7y's younger than Lily. Kanna has always been socially anxious and rarely seeks out new people, though she doesn't mind, but wants to become a kindergarten teacher.
Rose (former: N/A) is the youngest sister and 11y's younger than Lily. She's very outgoing and loves to keep active. Together with Violet, the two doesn't remember their mother's faces and instead see Lily as a parental figure. Want to become and adventurer like her big brother.
Violet (former: N/A) is the youngest brother and 12y's younger than Lily. He is somewhat uninterested in his peers and doesn't care much for making friends as he prefers to be alone, though if Rose stopped “bothering” him, he would become lonely. Not like he would ever admit it! Unsure what he wants to do, but he suppose going wherever Rose is going will suffice for now.

Notable NPC's

Cocobuki and the Thaumaturge Guild: During deliveries, the brothers found Lily intriguing due to his abundant aether.
Alphinaud and Alisaie: Because they somewhat reminds him of his younger siblings, he can't help but dote on them.
Zhloe: Wants to lend her all the support he can. She concerns him a little and whenever he comes to Idyllshire he cooks for her and the orphans.
Haurchefant: Former lovers and fiancés. Haurchefant was almost all of his “firsts” when it came to love and he feels like he cannot move on. Still loves him so dearly to this day.
House Fortempts: Calls Edmont “father-in-law” and Edmont. Despite starting with mixed feelings on both Artoirel and Emmanellain, the three of them gets along well. Thinks Emmanellain to be much younger than he is. When Lily brought his siblings to Ishgard to meet his family-in-law, he still feels embarrassed about Rose asking “How can you live somewhere so cold?!”.
