Common Knowledge

Endlessly energetic and friendly to all, Makhali is often seen wherever there is Allagan tech to be found. Usually, she is accompanied by her husband, a looming and quiet Dotharl man with a marked talent for Garlean magitek.
If you've ever signed up for an Allagan expedition any time in the last few years, there's a good chance you've seen the pair - either in your squad, or running against it.

Trivia
- Though a bit intense at first, Makhali is actually rather laid-back socially - she will usually go with the flow, preferring group cohesion to her personal feelings, and is quick to try and smooth things over when conflicts occur.
- Growing up with three elder siblings, including a brash brother only a year and a half removed from her, Makhali is thick-skinned and doesn't take offense easily. This contributes greatly to her easy-going nature.
- This also means that she considers trading playful jabs to be a love language, which can definitely turn some people away. She makes an effort not to do this if she is told that it bothers someone she is traveling with.
- Makhali wears her feelings on her sleeve, despite any desire for the opposite. It is blatantly obvious when she's upset about something, and she's a terrible liar - even for benign things, such as surprise plans for a loved one.
- Makhali is incredibly short, but you'll often have to look up to find her - she has a lifelong habit of scrambling to the top of the tallest nearby scenery in order to survey the view. Sometimes, that scenery is her husband.
- Not content with being the loudest person in any room, Makhali also tends to speak with her hands, using wide gestures with little to no warning - much to the lament of anyone trying to worm around her in tighter spaces.
- She has a daily training regiment that takes up her mornings, but leaves her invigorated and ready to face the day. It starts with extended stretching and jogging a few laps around the Beds, and transitions to form practice and contact drills with the training dummy in her front yard.
- Makhali will never turn down an opportunity to spar with someone. She considers it to be a social activity as much as it is a physical one, and enjoys learning about another's fighting style through experience.
- To prove to her family that she was ready to roam the Steppe (and the wider world at large), Makhali participated in Bardam's Mettle at the age of 17. She tamed her Yol, Khudus, at its conclusion. A stalwart and well-behaved avian, not a single one of his good qualities is a result of any training from Makhali, save maybe his couragousness. He prefers to sleep outside of the home in their front yard stable, but does spend a good deal of each evening roosted in the bar alcove of the living room, eating raw vegetable scraps and small bits of meat from dinner.
- As if determined to be Khudus' opposite, Makhali's dodo, Mokka, is a spoiled bird with a variety of deeply-held opinions on various aspects of her care. She also chooses favorites when it comes to people, and tends to peck or squawk at anyone not in her exclusive inner circle. She spends most of her time in the living room, comfortably lounging in front of the fireplace eating stolen snacks.
- Though much more Khasan's companion than hers, a silver-furred wolf they refer to as Labros pads the floors of their home and sometimes joins them on their excursions.
